Syedna Taher Saifuddin, of the Dawoodi Bohra community presented a set of solid silver screens with gold which were attached to the shrine. This set is made of 500 gold coins (each coin consisted 12 grams weight) and 200 thousand coins of silver, beautified with precious gems. 1360 1941 The western minaret was rebuilt by Dr Syedna Taher Saifuddin.
While the worshipers of Syedna still claim to be Muslim, they have gradually deviated fundamentally from the teachings and practices of Islam ever since their 51st Da’i, Syedna Taher Saifuddin, occupied the seat of Dawat in 1915. Dawoodi Bohra Da’is, till 50th Da’I, were poor and indebted.
On the 30 th of Ramadaan 1437H (4 th July 2016) Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS sent an open letter to Shehzada Mufaddal Saifuddin “out of concern for the community”. In the letter Syedna informed Shehzada Mufaddal Saifuddin that he has filed a “Chamber Summons in the Hon’ble High Court of Bombay to be substituted as plaintiff in the Suit filed by Syedna Qutbuddin to continue the fight for.
Syedna Saifuddin TUS helped his audience contextualize this significant event by providing the following details: (1) This event took place 4 or 5 years ago, (2) Moulana Burhanuddin RA na mizaaj mubarak par giraani thi, (3) work was being carried out in the khazaanah, (4) the document was kept in Saifee Mahal in Syedna Taher Saifuddin’s RA room, in a teak cupboard, along with other private.
After Syedna Qutbuddin’s RA sad demise in March 2016, his Mansoos and successor, the 54th Dai-l-Mutlaq, Syedna Taher Fakhruddin TUS, continues the vision of this program and is the passionate patron of this program. Syedna Fakhruddin inspires the community to achieve the highest standards of success in this world while adhering to one’s principles and values.

The 51st Dai Syedna Taher Saifuddin was a prolific scholar who wrote more than 40 volumes or 'Risalas' and has penned more than 10,000 verses in tribute to the Shia saints. ( citation needed ) Many of his works are part of the syllabus in the different fields of Arabic study in Al Jamea tus Saifiyah.
